Hey, I bought a handbag in Selfridges Trafford center this Feb and got the tax refund at the counter. I later left the country on the 8th of Feb from Manchester airport and dropped the envelope with all the papers in a mail posted inside the airport as indicated. Now after two and a half months, I found the amount of tax refund was taken from my bank account. What is the reason that PTF sneaky took away the money? I have done all I should do accordingly. What is the problem? I have noticed some other people had the same experience either didn't get a refund or deduct the money from the bank card. If so, why such a company still exit???

I want to make a serious complaint and blame. I submitted all the original documents to the tax refund staff at Heathrow Airport T5 on October 16 to handle the tax refund. I have not heard any more. I enquired with colleagues of the relevant departments on January 20, but the staff Najia pointed out that after checking the evidence to the colleagues at the airport, I said that I did not receive the tax refund form for the relevant items. I felt very angry and accidental. I am making such important tax refunds. The form was handed over to the staff, but the documents of the person were lost. The staff Najia also said that it was not his responsibility.

I handed over the tax refund documents to the colleagues of the relevant departments. I did not expect that he was lost, and I even lost money. I also put my responsibilities on me. The staff Najia has not responded and followed up. I feel that Very disappointed and angry, the desire to travel and travel in this country will be greatly reduced, and I will share this bad experience with my friends and colleagues.

I am attaching my own tax refund form and request to re-apply my tax refund application. My loss of tax refund form is not my fault. I also require strict disposition of staff Najia.

Please reply as soon as possible within one week, I will not give up!

I purchase a channel in Italy. I get a 672ERU. and get a stamp in custom and mailed the form back. After 3 months, the premier charged me 983 US dollars by my credit card. Capital One credit card continue to bill me and treated me for collection. I am American citizen, I could buy the same product in U.S. with cheaper price than in Italy. It is a scan. Shame on Premier Tax Italy. Why Global Blue received all of the paper works not premier tax free???????

yes I got something to say I sent back my refund receipts in feb 2019 from a trip to Ireland - never got my refund back, who should I call - when should I receive it> and why hasn't it been refunded in 8 months - please let me know who to call who to email and why I cant get my money back, why do you have customer service ?when nobody responds to these requests. 2 month later still no refund, and the customs stamped voucher went missing on their end

I called them one month after mailed in the customs stamped voucher at airport for status, was told that they haven't received the voucher, asked me to call back. Called back in another 4 weeks, was told they can't located the voucher and told me unless I can show them a copy with customs stamp (which was mailed in), they won't be able to do anything. Seriously!? Never had any issue on tax refund with Global Blue before and first time using this company, I ran into such a lost of refund (over $600). WTF!!!

Dear Premier Tax Free Customer Service

I had purchase goods from Hermes shop 3 transactions at Paris on 26 September 2018 amont 16,300€, 2,840€ and last purchase on 14 October 2018 amont 1,719€. My name is Jaruwan PhatthRapanyadee from Thailand which using credit card Visa number {{redacted}} (attached with this email)

I went to France since 22 September till 17 October 2018. I have been waiting 3 month patiently for tax refund since i did scan at CDG airport. But now i did not receive tax refund from Premier Tax. Sadly that i never took picture of tracking code to make this easily to check.

So, i provided all information that i have thought this email, please check and follow up these transactions . Thank you so much for your coorperation.

I have the same problems. they are scammers by the sound of it.

My refund is months overdue as well and they have a delaying tactic to avoid replying.

Lodge a complaint to the Financial Service Regulators and circulate your story to the media for best results. There are numerous complaints all over the internet about them and Planet payment who is their other company.

I got my tax refund with Premiere tax free in cash in Paris, went to the airport and mailed everything they said to mail. A month later I received a credit card bill for the amount I received back in cash. I'm not sure why they did this so I emailed them and it has been 3 weeks but they have not replied my email. I did everything Premiere tax free counter at the airport told me to do. Now I only have the tourist copy of the tax refund form left and a credit card bill to pay. This is a total scam!! I have read that many customers got the same issue.

Global Exchange counter at Barcelona Airport was unbelievably slow in processing tax refunds for customers. If you look at the photo taken, I guess many were in line For tax refund. There were only few FX exchange customers but they had placed 4 employees to the exchange counter while having only 1 employee responding to tax refund customers (Just before the attched photo was taken, finally another person came in). Euro was not available and look at the USD/Euro exchange rate, even if you consider service fee or so it is preposterous. This is ridiculous - so disappointed compared to Global Blue services.

I purchased a smartphone in Prague (July 18') and received my tax free refund in cash after I gave all the receipts and paperwork to their representative (otherwise I wouldn't get the money, right?!). But in Oct 18' I saw that my credit card was charged.

After contacting them a few times, sending the pictures of the receipts they say that some blank is missing. And I just don't get it. How is it my problem? They lost the paperwork, but it's my fault?!

The worst thing they don't even try to help, to send the blank I should fill out or just explain how to solve the problem. They say, they're not authorized to grant a refund without the papers, but why did I get the refund then?!

There's no logic in what they're doing, just ridiculous! It feels like they just scam people, because I found so many victims with the same problem.

Does anyone know how to sue them for all of their scams??

I am seriously thinking goung after this fraudulent comoany. I am a US french citizen and was cheated twice by these cheaters. Once in Amsterdam, and the other time in Paris and both times, I filed a dispute with my credit crad company. Even when you scan your paperwork, they pretend the paperwork was never received and or refund you 20% less at a very unfavorable exchange rate! Boycott them by not buying from stires dealing with them!!

OK, I eventually got the rest of my refund, but it took almost 2.5 months. I guess I wonder why true VAT refunds cannot be done on the spot, like happens at the shopping complex next to Blarney castle in Ireland. The VAT refund business should clearly be labeled the "40% VAT refund" business, as PlanetPayment keeps the rest as their fee.

BTW, they are now PlanetPayment. I have decided to avoid any shop that uses this company for the supposed refund of the VAT to non-EU citizens! One of my purchases in France did result in a refund with their huge fee deducted, but the other is in limbo. They finally responded and said the merchant left off the credit card number from the form and asked for it. I provided that number to them and 2 weeks later they said my refund would be credited sometime in the next month. Don't they have computers? I used the Pablo kiosks at the Marseille airport so at least there have been no claims of lost paperwork. Really, this is not worth the hassle and I will avoid all European shops that use this company.

I’m Asian. I was Munich airport on 2 March 2019 for refund tax at Premiere tax free counter. The officer is an Asian woman, she had bad manners to me, (eg. throwed my receipt and spoke very quickly for look down my English!!) which I realized that because I’m not Caucasian and I’m a woman. It’ Discrimination and racism.
