On January 9 2017 I posted my refund forms at Schiphol airport in the mail box at the Premier tax free counter. Now, 8 weeks later I still haven't received refund from Premier tax free.

Other tax free agents - Global Blue and Easy tax - have refunded all due tax amounts to my account long time ago (I submitted Global Blue and Easy tax refund forms on the same day), but Premier tax has no intention to pay. When I call the company in Amsterdam, receptionist takes a message and promises that a relevant employee will call back, but they never do. On Premier website there is no email address to write a request or complaint, so the only way to contact them is by phone.

The bottom line: this is a scam: they just cash in your VAT on your behalf and put it in their pockets. Avoid this company by all means or get a cash refund at the airport, although in latter case Premier tax will *** by charging extortionate fees and exchange rates.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $300.

I have had the same bad experience, they are crooks.

I got my refund(minus a hefty commission) from their office in Milan, sent the stamped paperwork back within 9 days, and they still charged my credit card for about 2,5 times the refund anyway, claiming they have not received the paper work.

After lots of emails to them, they finally refunded that amount, but minus 10 Euros, which the claim is a “debit fee”. Also losses on conversion from the credit card company of course.

So, I lost practically all my refund.

I suppose in lots of cases, people don’t complain or have lost their receipt and cannot complain, and they just keep anything, so they pocket much more than your refund.

I already did all that, the problem is that you claim you did not receive my papers in time, although I sent them 9 days after shopping. If Italian mail is that bad you should wait longer before you help yourself to credit card, which you were supposed to use only if papers were not mailed within 21 days.

Never again, it was fraud on your part.
